Race Report 21/07/2008

Hi all,

First of all, it was a really good race evening! 5 Riders showed up, which is not bad for the first session. Humberto arrived just at the end of the intro round and was therefore not familiar with the course which would finally be his undoing.

Dave was the first to hit the road, John followed, then Martin, me and Humberto.

The ride went pretty well for all of us. As expected, Dave’s Time Trial genes brought him the victory with an outstanding result of 25:06 min. But wait: “Where is Humberto?” OK, obviously there is potential to improve the signage of the course. Already being considered as “DNF” did he finally arrive after an odyssey through Academic City. Being perfectly warmed up now and with additional knowledge of the place could he finally start the time trial.
